Translation from French:

Question #1: We are with Andre Luiz who just played his first game for the San Jose Earthquakes. What are your first impressions?
Andre Luiz: "I am really verry happy, mostly for the result. The game was a little hard, as any game, but for a first, I am really happy and I hope it will continue like this."

Q2: And what about San jose, the environement?
A.L.: "It is not the same as Europe and even less as Mexico. You need to adapt a little bit because here, people go fast and run a lot but when you have enough courage, it shouldn't be too difficult. I hope I will have a good game next week as well."

Q3: Are you here just for the end of the season or are you already confirmed for next year?
A.L.: "I have a 6 months contract here because I still belong to Jaguares de Chiapas, but there is an option for 3 more years and I hope I'll continue"..."I do 6 months for now, but I may continue 3 more years"

Q4: Apparently, Mexico kept you in great shape!
A.L.: "Yes because I played all the games of last season. I went on vacation for 20 days then, which is not too much and came back to Chiapas where I did the pre-season camp with the team. I just changed clubs, but I was ready to play when I arrived here."

Q5: Last question, what happened to your arm?
A.L.: "I jumped with Seattle's guy and when I fell, he fell on my arm. The minutes that followed were difficult, but I really wanted to continue playing and, thank God, I could make it. I feel better now."
