The young winger spent his first 2 professional seasons at Buck Shaw.
In 2008, the number 15 mostly played a few minutes at the end of each game, showing a lot of promising skills. He confirmed in 2009, after the right mid spot had been left open by Ronnie O'Brien's departure.
Arturo Alvarez first took the spot, but an injury, and then his repositioning in a forward position, gave Salinas the opportunity to start most of the games in the second part of the season and, without being brilliant, he confirmed that he was developping in a good MLS player.
He was also Appreciated by the fans for his availability for and involvement in the local soccer community.
