After today's game against the Seattle Sounders, Andre Luiz told us a little more about his contract. The Brazilian international midfielder his on loan from Jaguares de Chiapas for 6 months. After that, there is an option for 3 more years.
My interpretation (but this remains to be confirmed), is that the San Jose Earthquakes have the option to definitely purchase the player at the end of the loan, Andre Luiz having signed a pre-contract that links him to San jose for 3 additional years if the deal between the 2 clubs is confirmed.
